The Media Pool

Modified on Sat, 17 Feb 2024 at 01:55 PM

The Media Pool is the place where you upload and manage media within a Room. It can be displayed in the thumbnail view or table list view.

The Media Pool has a toolbar containing all the action buttons and the filters to manage the media. The footer shows the media count, the total video + audio runtime, and the selected items count.

When you enter a Room, by default the Media Pool shows all the media for that Room. Media Pool items count can be modified by filtering media out.

Media management operations are described in this article.

Playing media

By clicking on the name of a single video, audio, or still image file, the media will be presented on the Player page. Otherwise, if you want to send the whole Media Pool content to the Player page, click on the PLAY ALL button on the footer.

The Media Pool is strictly connected to the Bins and Days panel. To learn how to browse content using Days and Bins, refer to this article.

Favorite bookmarks

To help users in finding media, any item in the Media Pool can be bookmarked (heart icon).

Click on the heart icon on the media to toggle the favorite flag. Click it again to remove it. You can bookmark multiple selected media by using the options button on the Media Pool toolbar.

If you have marked as favorite items in the Media Pool, you can use the relative filter on the toolbar to show them only.

Unwatched media

Unwatched media is marked with a blue flag. Playing the media on the Player page removes the blue flag.

At your convenience, you can remove the blue unwatched flag from one or more media using the options menu on the media itself or on the Media Pool toolbar.
