Filtering and sorting lists

Modified on Sat, 7 Oct, 2023 at 10:41 AM

Every list in Mnemonica has filtering and sorting tools. Mnemonica provides filters to reduce the complexity of a list.

Filtering and sorting tools are usually placed on toolbars.

Filtering elements of a list

Text search fields are placed in the center of the toolbar. Usually, they let users search through the main fields of every list (e.g., names, Tags, Nice Codes, usernames, email addresses, etc.).

By clicking on the funnel button, an advanced filtering panel pops up, letting users use filters in combination.

By clicking on the Show Items button in the lower right corner of the panel, chosen filters will be applied, and the count of selected filters will appear next to the funnel icon on the toolbar. The circular arrow button will reset all the applied filters.

Sorting elements

In Mnemonica, all the lists are sortable.

To sort elements in a card/thumbs layout, choose criteria from the drop-down menu placed on the right side of the toolbar.

In a table list layout, click on the column headers to select the criteria. Click again to switch the sorting order.
