Every list in Mnemonica has filtering and sorting tools. Use filters to reduce the complexity of a list.
The filtering and sorting tools are usually on the toolbars.
Filtering elements of a list
The text search field is in the center of the toolbar. It usually searches the main fields of the list (for example names, Tags, Nice Codes, usernames and email addresses).
To use many filters together, click the funnel button. A row of filter menus opens under the toolbar. For example, the Rooms list has Family, Status, Type, Attributes and Color. The Media Pool has Type, Availability, Attributes, Status, Rating and Rated by.
Click a menu and select an option. The list updates at once. Chips under Applied filters show the active filters. Click the x on a chip to remove that filter. The number of applied filters appears on the funnel button.
To reset all the applied filters, click the circular arrow button next to the funnel.
Sorting elements
All the lists in Mnemonica are sortable.
- Card or thumbnail layout: choose the criteria from the sort menu on the toolbar. In the Rooms list, the menu offers Name, Color, Date, Not watched, Items #, Size and Last access. To reverse the order, click the arrow button next to it.
- Table layout: click a column header to select the criteria. Click it again to switch the sorting order. An arrow in the header shows the active column.
