TABLE OF CONTENTS

The navigation bar

The nav-bar is always on top of the Mnemonica UI, carrying information serving the entire Mnemonica environment.

On the nav-bar, you can easily find:

The Sidebar

The left vertical sidebar host hotlinks to the main services within a Project:

The Screening Rooms and the Audience Control links are contextual: when you are in a Screening Room you can jump directly to the Audience management for that Room.

The User menu

On the very bottom of the sidebar takes place the User menu (avatar) where you can find:

Within a Project, your avatar will carry a role badge that describes your role inside the Project.

  • M = Manager
  • O = Operator
  • G = Guest

Lists

Mnemonica has a list-based UI. Depending on the page, lists can be shown with different layouts:

  • Cards or thumbnails
  • Table list

Where make sense, users can choose between the layouts above.

Elements of a list often can be filtered, learn how.

Lists are shown almost everywhere. They can be lists of Projects, Rooms, Media, Days, Bins, Users, Groups of users, etc.

Every list has a toolbar and a footer.

Toolbars

Below the top-bar takes place a toolbar. Depending on what page you are on, on the toolbar you can find:

Footers

When a list is shown, the count of the list of selected items and possibly some other information appears on the footer.

In the Media Pool, the footer carries also information about the media runtime of the Room.

The options button

Users can find option buttons all over the User Interface of Mnemonica. The options button represented with the classical three dots icon is useful to open-up menus or find action shortcuts. Some of them become visible when the mouse pointer hovers over an object only.

UI vs Roles

Between roles, in terms of privileges, there are substantial differences. So the UI, while remaining unchanged in its basic structure, may undergo slight changes depending on the user's role in the Project.

Multiple selections

To select an element from a list just click it. To deselect click it again.

Where permitted you can select multiple items using the Ctrl/Cmd-click or Shift-click commands.

On the mobile app, you can activate multiple selections by long-tapping an element of a list.

Screening Rooms

A Screening Room in Mnemonica carries much information. Where represented, it shows some of them depending on the page you are in. You can get informed on Room status, properties, and family links, directly on the Rooms card by reading the multi-colored icons.

Drag & drop

Wherever a list of objects (rooms, clips, days, bins, Guests, groups, etc...) is shown, users can perform actions on those objects by dragging them over other objects or over the drop areas which appear at the bottom of the screen when dragging items.
