Sending a Box
Create a Box, fill it with files, seal it and send it to one or more recipients.

A Box is a container of files created for delivery purposes. As a Team Member, you can send a Box to anyone. As a Guest, you can send a Box only to users who are already part of the Project. You can also send it only if Boxes are enabled for you.
A Manager enables Boxes with the Enable Boxes switch when inviting the Guest. Mnemonica also enables them when someone sends you a Box. This stops Guests from using the resources of the Project without authorization.
Sending a Box takes four steps.
Create a Box
Go to the Boxes page and open the Outgoing tab. Click the add button (+) on the toolbar of the left panel. Enter a name for the Box and click Create.
Fill the Box with content
You can fill a Box with files from the Screening Rooms of the Project and with files from your local drives. You can upload media in the browser or with Mnemonica Gate.
To upload files from your local drive, click the add button (+) on the toolbar of the Box detail.
To add files from a Screening Room, open the Hub and go to the Media Pool. Drag the media onto the Box.
Seal the Box
Before you send a Box, turn on the Seal the Box switch. Sealing approves the Box content for delivery.
You can unseal and modify a Box in these cases:
- The Box has no delivery set.
- The Box has a delivery set, but the content upload is still running.
If a delivery is set and an upload is running, unseal the Box to stop the delivery for a short time. Modify the content. Then seal the Box again to continue the delivery.
Set a delivery
After Mnemonica delivers a Box, you cannot modify it.
Click the Send to... button. In the dialog, do these actions:
- Type one or more email addresses.
- Choose whether to CC the recipients.
- Choose a delivery duration (1 to 7 days).
- If needed, write a message for the recipients.
Click Send Box.
If the uploads are finished, Mnemonica delivers the Box immediately. You and the recipients get a notification by email and on mobile devices. If the uploads are not finished, wait for them to finish.
