Mnemonica Gate continues most interrupted transfers by itself. This page lists each case.
The network drops or the server has a problem
The Gate tries again by itself. It waits longer after each try. You do not need to do anything.
If the Gate cannot reach the server, check your internet connection and your proxy settings.
The computer sleeps
While transfers run, the Gate keeps the computer awake. A closed lid still puts a laptop to sleep.
When the computer wakes, the Gate restarts itself and continues the transfers.
A drive is unplugged
The Gate holds the transfer. It does not mark the transfer as failed. The card shows the name of the missing drive.
When you connect the drive again, the Gate continues the transfer.
You quit the Gate
The Gate saves your transfers first. They continue the next time the Gate starts.
The system drive is full
The Gate warns you that it cannot save its queue. Free some space on the drive.
The transfers continue. If you restart the Gate before you free the space, the progress of the transfers can be lost.
A file changed after you added it
If you change a file after you add it to an upload, the transfer of that file fails. Add the file again.
If a transfer still fails
Manage the transfer in the Gate with Retry or Skip. If the problem stays, send a technical report.
