Guests management is the page where Managers handle the access of Guests to the Screening Rooms. To open it, click Guests in the bottom bar. The top bar shows Guests management.

In a Production Project, the page has four tabs:

In an Archive Project, the page has a fifth tab, Works, to admit Guests and Power Guests to a single Work. See Adding Guests to a Work.

Each tab shows a list of objects in a primary panel on the left. A secondary panel, called the detail panel, shows the relationships of the selected object with other objects.

Each tab shows the same relationships from a different point of view.

Two rules apply to deletion:

  • If you delete an entry from the primary panel, you delete the selected object and all its relationships in the Project. This destroys the resource.
  • If you delete an entry from the detail panel, you delete only the relationship between the selected object and the tab. This is never destructive.

Screening Rooms tab

The left panel of the Screening Rooms tab lists the Rooms of the Project. When you select a Room, the detail panel opens.

The detail panel has four tabs:

  • Guests: the Guests admitted to the Room
  • Groups: the Groups admitted to the Room
  • Invited: the persons who have pending invitations to the Room
  • Days: the Days in the Room (Dailies Rooms only).

Each element in these lists represents the relationship between that element and the selected Room. If you add or remove elements in the Guests or Groups lists, you change the Audience of the Room.

In a Dailies Room, the Days tab lists the Days of the Room, divided into weeks. You can enable or disable each Day for the Audience.

If you remove a Guest in the Guests tab of the detail panel, Mnemonica does not delete the Guest from the Project.

To add Guests to a Room, see Adding Guests to a Screening Room.

Guests tab

The left primary panel of the Guests tab lists the Guests of the Project, whatever Rooms they are admitted to.

When you select a Guest, the detail panel opens on the right. It has two tabs:

  • Rooms: the Rooms where the Guest is admitted
  • Groups: the Groups of which the Guest is a member.

Each element in these lists represents a relationship between that element and the selected Guest. If you add or remove elements in these lists, you change the admissions of the Guest to Rooms.

A Guest can be admitted to a Screening Room both as an individual and as a member of one or more Groups admitted to that Room.

If you delete a Guest from the primary panel, Mnemonica removes that Guest from all Rooms and Groups.

Groups tab

The left primary panel of the Groups tab lists the Groups of the Project. To create a new Group, click the add button (+) on the toolbar.

When you select a Group, the detail panel opens on the right. It has three tabs:

  • Guests: the members of the Group
  • Rooms: the Rooms to which the Group is admitted
  • Invited: the persons who have pending invitations to the Group.

Each element in these lists represents a relationship between that element and the selected Group.

If you delete a Group from the Project (from the primary panel), Mnemonica does not delete its members from the Project.

To add a Guest to a Group, see Adding Guests to Groups.

Invited tab

This tab lists all invited Guests who are not part of the Project yet.

When you select an invited person, the detail panel shows the resources to which that person has a pending invitation.

For each invited person, you can:

  • send a reminder invitation email
  • delete specific invitations.

Invitations last 30 days. After that, Mnemonica removes them automatically.

For details, see Pending invitations management.
