For its audience, a Screening Room can be:
- Open (accessible, enabled): the Room icon is green. Guests can access the Room.
- Closed (not accessible, disabled): the Room icon is red. Guests see the Room card on their dashboard, but they cannot access the Room.
- Timed: a clock icon appears beside the Room icon. It shows a future change of the Room status, for example a future opening or a future closing.
Room status does not affect the access of Team Members to the Room.
The status of Collaborative Rooms is always enabled.
To show only the Rooms with one status (Open or Closed), use the Status filter. To show the filters, click the filter icon on the toolbar.
Automated opening
To restrict the access time of the audience, you can set an opening date and time, a closing date and time, or both.
Open the status dialog
Click the stand-by (power) icon on the Room card, or in the header inside your Room. The Screening Room status dialog opens.
Set the times
Turn on Open on, Close on, or both. Select a date and a time for each.
To open or close the Room manually, use the Enabled switch in the same dialog.
The audience is informed
When you invite someone to a timed Room, the invitation email gives the timing settings, so the recipient knows the time restrictions.
Mnemonica also sends a push notification to the user's mobile device 24 h, 8 h, and 2 h before the Room closes.
To receive push notifications, enable the push notification service in the System Settings of your smartphone. Push notifications work only with internet coverage.
