Your work in Mnemonica happens inside Projects, Production or Archive. To see a Project's content, you must be part of it. In most cases, you join because someone invites you. This article tells you how you join a Project, what role you have there, and how to leave it.
Ways to become part of a Project
You become part of a Project in one of these ways:
- Someone invites you as a Team Member (Manager or Operator).
- Someone invites you as a Guest in a Screening Room.
- Someone invites you as a Guest in the Project. A Manager can turn on Enable Boxes in the invitation, so you can use Boxes.
- Someone sends you a Box. In an Archive Project, someone sends you a Delivery.
- If you are a Company Administrator, you can join any Project of the Company as a Manager, without an invitation.
You do not accept an invitation. If you already have a Mnemonica account, you are part of the Project as soon as someone invites you. If you do not have an account, register: when you complete the registration, you are part of the Project.
You can be part of a Project and have no access to its Screening Rooms or Boxes.
One role in each Project
You have only one role in a Project. The invitation you receive sets your role. If you are a Company Administrator and join a Project yourself, your role is Manager. You cannot give yourself another role.
Leave a Project
You can leave a Project at any time. If you are the last user in a Project, you cannot leave it.
Open the Projects page
Click Projects in the bottom bar.
Open the card menu
On the card of the Project, click the options button (⋮).
Leave the Project
Select Leave project.
Company Administrators can also leave a Project from the Company panel. Open Company / Projects, then select Leave Project in the Project menu.
