Each Screening Room can have a burned-in watermark. Mnemonica applies it to all the videos and stills of the Room. The watermark has two free-text fields, Top field and Bottom field (50 characters maximum each). You can adjust their opacity and offset.
- The opacity value is between 8% and 63%, a range that suits any background image.
- The offset value sets the distance between the two text fields.
A Room can have a burned-in watermark and an Overlay Watermark at the same time.
Text size adapts automatically. Short texts can have bigger font sizes than long texts.
The preview window is indicative. It does not show the exact final result.
Before you apply the watermark, check the preview with the Try aspect ratio and Try background menus.
When you apply the watermark, Mnemonica re-encodes all the content of the Screening Room and creates an alternate version of the proxy files. This can take minutes to hours, depending on the content of the Room. If you remove the watermark, you lose all the watermarked proxies. The removal is instantaneous.
To open the watermark window, use one of these ways:
- On the Rooms page, click the options button (⋮) on the Room card and select Watermark... / Burned-in Watermark....
- In a Screening Room, click the watermark icon (shield) on the right of the header.
- In Guests management, click the watermark icon on the header of a Room detail.
Collaborative Rooms use the same Watermark... menu on the Room card.
