How to delete your account

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can delete your own account. Mnemonica then permanently erases your personal information from its servers.

Mnemonica keeps a record of what users do together: comments, uploads, invitations. To keep this record complete, Mnemonica does not erase it. It anonymizes your part of it: your name and email address no longer appear. You cannot restore anonymized data.

To delete your account:

1. Click your avatar to open the user menu, then select Preferences.
2. In the Profile section, click Delete account.
3. In the Delete Account dialog, click Email me a code.
4. Type the code that you receive by email.
5. Click Proceed.
